Maranatha Christian School Job openings—Full Time: Math Teacher (Pre-Algebra through Algebra 2) for Jr High & High School.   Part Time High School:  English, Science/Biology, 2-3 classes per day, Foreign Language  (Spanish or French), 1-2 classes per day. Motorcycle Ride – Sat. July 19th meet at 9:00 a.m. leave at 9:30 a.m. sharp.  Our brothers in Christ the “Warriors of the Cross” are sponsoring this ride to Lake Henshaw to help us determine if there is enough interest to reactivate the Maranatha Motorcycle Fellowship.  If you have any questions you can call Carl @ 858-217-2486

 

  New Small Group for Singles over the age of 24 starts Tuesday, July 1 from 7-8:30pm in Room C-202.  This is a great opportunity for discipleship, fellowship, and to grow deeper in your walk with the Lord!  This study will begin in the book of 1st Corinthians.  For more information please call Justin at (858)705-0238.

Mission Ministry Volunteer Meeting – New and exciting things are happening with missions and we are looking for new faces to be involved. Come to an information meeting on Sunday, June 29 at 10:30am in C-210 to learn more.

 

HEARTS FOR HELEN, our Widows' Ministry for all ages, meets Monday, July 7, 11am - 1pm in the Fellowship Hall for the monthly Bible study and light lunch.  For info call Ruth Nissley at (858)530-8725.  PLEASE NOTE: Hearts For Helen will not meet the months of August and September.

 

Salt and Light Ministry—Join us Saturday, July 12 as we pray for our legislators and discuss Biblical issues in government.  We meet the second Saturday of each month at 8:00pm in room C209. For more info email: salt.light.maranatha@cox.net.

 

Attention incoming High school freshmen and sophomore guys!! Join us for a summer discipleship series on Thursday’s from 11am - 1:00pm in room C-203.  These Thursday meetings will take place on 6/19, 6/26, 7/3, 7/24, 7/31, and 8/7. New Muslim Outreach Ministry lead by Daniel Massieh.  Join others who have a desire to reach out to local Muslims.  Monthly meetings will include outreach events, fellowship and biblical-cultural teaching that will equip you to effectively share the love of Christ. New Bookstore hours—Starting June 2 we will be closed on Mondays  and open on Saturdays (10am-8:30pm). New hours are as follows:     Mon: CLOSED, Tues: 10am-5pm, Wed: 10am-9:30pm, Thurs: 10am-5pm,  Fri: CLOSED, Sat: 10am-8:30pm, Sun: 8am-1pm.
