Maranatha Hispanic Ministries
Maranatha Chapel is privileged to house a dynamic ministry to the Hispanic Commnunity, headed up by Alejandro Alonso, Bible teacher and musician (see his bio on this site in English HERE and in Spanish HERE). The fellowship meets on Wednesday nights at 7:00pm, and also holds special concerts and other events.
Hispanic Ministry Objectives:
- To know who Jesus is: To reach out and build transforming relationships in the lives of the local Hispanic population by systematically teaching the full counsel of God's unchanging Word.
- To be partners in God's love, which is shed abroad: To extend ourselves, and remain likewise connected to Hispanic people residing elsewhere in the United States, Latin America, Europe and anywhere in the world.
- To strengthen, mature and build up the church body: To glorify Christ by distinguishing his pure word from: false doctrines, and schemes of opportunists who would fleece this precious flock.
- To begin to actually live in His Word so that we may walk in His ways. To foster each individual's personal relationship with Jesus Christ by encouraging: scriptural meditation, prayer, Christian fellowship, and acts of love and appreciation.
