The Cambras

Brian and Maria met while serving in Bucharest, Romania with ROCK Ministries.  Brian’s ministry with ROCK focused on the administrative aspects of the ministry while Maria concentrated on the day-to-day care of abandoned babies in a hospital.  Together they enjoyed the many opportunities to love the children and families in Bucharest.

In March 2005, the Cambras returned to York, England to minister at an extension campus of Calvary Chapel Bible College.  The York Campus typically hosts between 50 and 70 students each semester.  The students come from Britain, America, Europe, and South America.  In their primary roles at the Bible College, Brian teaches classes and disciples students while Maria ministers to the girls as their “dorm mom.”

The Cambra’s heart is to see nationals raised up to engage in the work of the Lord throughout Europe.  This will happen as God’s Word is faithfully taught and more and more churches are planted.  The Cambra’s vision is to eventually step out and be apart of one of these church plants as the Lord directs and guides.  In the meantime, they are blessed to be a part of the work at Calvary Chapel Bible College York where His Word is transforming lives.
