Brian grew up in a Christian home south of Albuquerque New Mexico. His parents were Godly, but in spite of his Christian upbringing, Brian quickly became involved in a sinful lifestyle of drugs and alcohol. His life spiraled down and Brian was out of control. Thankfully, using a number of devastating circumstances in his life, God was able to grab a hold of Brian’s heart and draw him to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Brian committed his life to Christ and began attending Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta California. It was there that Brian sensed a calling for the mission field. After he finished his studies, he met his wife Lynne. Lynne and Brian were married and lived in the States for two years.

After building a foundation for their family, and giving birth to a son, God asked them if they were willing to give up the comforts of America and follow Him to Africa. They said yes and six months later boarded a plane to Uganda, making the commitment to follow the Lord wherever He would lead.

Since March of 2002 Brian and Lynne have been ministering in Kampala—Uganda’s capital city. God has used them to establish Calvary Chapel Kampala, of which Brian is the senior pastor. He is also the overseer of the Bible College extension campus.

Hundreds of people visit the church each week, and it continues to grow. Their daughter Julia was born in 2002 and their third child, Liana, was born in 2005. Both were born in Uganda.
