How to Join:

ÿ        Attend 3-4 meetings to make sure the boy wants to join.

ÿ        Complete Permission Slip and Medical Information Form

ÿ        Purchase appropriate level workbook from the Bookstore

ÿ        Purchase uniform shirt, if a family cannot afford the entire uniform at one time the shirt is No. 1 priority.

ÿ        Next pay annual dues.  As of August 2007 dues are $50 per year.

ÿ        Purchase remainder of uniform

o        Royal Rangers National Website is at:       http://royalrangers.ag.org/        from this site you can see what the boys uniform should look like and where all patches should be placed, also you can click on ‘Online Store’ to order the uniform parts.*

o        A Ranger Kids uniform (K thru 2^nd grade) consists of:

o        Red Dress Shirt, Blue Denim Vest, Denim jeans (any kind, no uniform pants are specified) a Bolo Tie*

o        A Discovery, Adventure and Expedition Ranger Uniform consists of:

o        A Khaki Shirt (long or short sleeve for general purposes, some may need a long sleeve shirt for special occasions).  Khaki Pants (long pants or shorts are acceptable most of the time but long pants may be required for special occasions).

o        Web Belt* and Bolo Tie*

*         Shirt patches, Bolo Ties, Web Belts and Berets (most boys like them) are usually available through the outpost at our meetings.

Once You Join:

ÿ        Meetings start promptly at 7:00 p.m.  Try not to be late, it is distracting to the others who arrived on time.  Meetings are dismissed at 8:45 p.m.

ÿ        Try to be consistent in attendance, we understand that everyone may miss once in a while but your Ranger will fall behind if he does not attend regularly.

ÿ        Learn the Pledge to the American Flag

ÿ        Learn the Pledge to the Christian Flag

ÿ        Learn the Ranger Code

ÿ        Learn the Ranger Motto

ÿ        Start working on Merits and Advancements, these are worked on at meetings and some others can be worked on independently with help and guidance from his parents.

Royal Rangers is a ministry here to provide fun for the boys while Reaching, Teaching and Keeping the boys for our Savior Jesus Christ.
