Where is the retreat?

  • Calvary Chapel Conference Center in Murrieta Hot Springs
  • This beautiful retreat location is located just 50 minutes north of San Diego.
  • The address is 39405 Murrieta Hot Springs Road, Murrieta, CA 92563.

How much is the retreat?

  • The cost for the weekend is $185.
  • Layaway is available. To begin layaway you must pay $50 and the balance must be paid no later than April 18. Layaways cannot be handled through the ONLINE payment system, please see Jean at the Foyer table on Sundays.
  • Registering for the retreat constitutes a commitment and NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED.
  • The cost includes dinner Friday night, breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday breakfast. Pre-set vegetarian meals are available, but we are unable to accommodate food allergies or medical conditions. Vegetarian meals must be requested on your registration prior to April 5.
  • It also includes 1 set of towels and linens for the weekend.

What is the schedule for the weekend?

  • Registration is from 4pm - 6pm
  • Friday dinner is at 7pm
  • Our first session begins at 8pm
  • Main event Friday evening: concert with Marsha Skidmore!!!
  • On Sunday we will dismiss about noon.

What should I bring?

  • Bible / Pen
  • Toiletries / Purse-sized tissue
  • Pillow [additional pillow if needed]
  • Flashlight [and batteries]
  • Ear Plugs
  • Camera [extra batteries or charger]
  • Sunscreen / Towel [if you plan to go swimming*]
  • Plastic bags [for taking home wet stuff]
  • Spending money [there is a beautiful book store]    
 

What should I wear?

  • The attire for this weekend is CASUAL. This means jeans, sneakers and sweatshirts.
  • Dressing in layers is highly recommended.
  • Make-up is OPTIONAL.
  • We recommend leaving your flat irons, curling irons, etc at home.

What are the rules at Murrieta?

  • There is no food or drink allowed in any meeting rooms or lodges.
  • Water bottles are permitted.
  • Bathing suits should be 1-piece and of modest design.
  • Secular music and dancing are not permitted
  • Bed linens and towels will be provided.
  • Except for nursing infants, children are not permitted at the conference center.
  • There are no pets permitted on the grounds
  • There are no RVs permitted on the grounds
